New York Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman announced a $50,000 settlement with the Trump Hotel Collection on Friday. The Trump Hotel Collection has agreed to pay a penalty for not disclosing a series of hacks on its computer network which resulted in the theft of 70,000 customers' credit card information and other personal data. The hacks have received only modest press coverage during Trump’s heated campaign for the presidency and date back to at least May 19, 2014.
