Neural Training Can Alter Opinions of Faces

A recent study managed to change subjects' opinions on faces from neutral to positive and negative alike through brain training. This new technique, once fully developed, can be used in helping with traumatic experiences and treating disorders such as depression.

Lack of Parental Support Compounds Depression in Some Girls of Color

Research suggests that black women attempt suicide more often than black men, which means that there are high levels of depression in the female black demographic that goes untreated. The pressure to compete with white celebrities and racial gaps are among the main causes of depression, and tragically minorities don't always receive the same quality of mental care. Mental health awareness across all sectors must improve in the near future.
