Microsoft Wants to Use Artificial Intelligence to Crack Cancer Code

According to Microsoft, cancer is just like any computer virus. You can "solve" it just by breaking the code. And Microsoft plans to do just that, which is why it got its researchers to use artificial intelligence in a new healthcare initiative to target cancerous cells and eliminate the disease.

Microsoft teases what looks like a black Surface Book 2

Microsoft leaked a picture of an unnamed black, sleek looking device on its Instagram.  Speculation is that the picture models part of the Surface Book 2, with a slimmer hinge that differentiated and popularized the original Surface design. Still, this is more preliminary buzz than ready to release product.

Microsoft awards hardware startup ENTy the 2016 Imagine Cup

The winner, ENTy, created an app that can detect potential issues affecting the inner ear. ENTy's app (which stands for Ear, Nose, and Throat) ensures that its user is standing up straight and is balanced thanks to a device the user straps onto his/her back. If the app detects an issue, it alerts the user of a problem. Now if only there was an app to notify where the nearest doctor's office is..
